Rip-off driving licence websites are charging up to five-times government prices, and Google is letting it happen
Websites selling driving licence services at an inflated price are taking advantage of Google Ads to attract unsuspecting customers.
Which? investigates websites, such as Licence Safe, who charge up to £113 for government services which usually cost between £0 to £21.50.
These copycat websites offer admin assistance, fast processing, paperless application and 24/7 online assistance, amongst other ‘benefits’. They charge a ‘service charge’, on top of the official fee for the licence from the DV
